Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 52) ➊ {يَوْمَ يَدْعُوْكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيْبُوْنَ بِحَمْدِهٖ :} means that at His call you will rise from the graves as obedient and submissive, praising Him. Unlike in the world, instead of any kind of rebellion or denial, you will praise Allah and express complete obedience before Him. (See An-Nahl: 87) Or it means that you will present yourselves at His call. The meaning of {’’ بِحَمْدِهٖ ‘‘} is {’’ وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ ‘‘}, that is, your rising from the graves at Allah’s call is a quality unique to Allah alone, for which only He deserves praise and thanks.
{ يَوْمَ يَدْعُوْكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيْبُوْنَ بِحَمْدِهٖ :} For its explanation, see the commentary of Surah Yunus, Ayah (45).

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

52. 1. The meaning of 'will call' is that He will resurrect (people) from their graves and present them in His court; you will comply with His command while praising Him, or you will recognize Him and present yourselves before Him.

52. 2. There, this worldly life will seem very short. کانھم یوم یرونھا لم یلبثوا الا عشیۃ او ضحہا۔ النازعات۔ When they see the Day of Judgment, the life of this world will seem to them as if they had stayed in it only for an evening or a morning. The same subject has been mentioned in other places as well. Some say that when the first trumpet is blown, all the dead will be resurrected in their graves. Then, at the second trumpet, they will be gathered in the field of resurrection for reckoning. There will be a gap of forty years between the two trumpets, and during this interval, they will not be given any punishment; they will be asleep. When they rise at the second trumpet, they will say, 'Alas, who has raised us from our sleeping places?' 36. Ya-Sin:52) (Fath al-Qadeer) The first opinion is more sound.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

52. The Day He will call you, you will respond to His call, praising Him [63], and you will think that you stayed (in the world) only for a little while.

[63] That is, when the Day of Resurrection comes and Allah commands you to rise after bringing you back to life and to present yourselves before Him, you will, without any hesitation, present yourselves before Him on your own. And all these matters will be forgotten by you. Then, on that day, since all veils will be lifted and every person will see that the only All-Powerful is Allah alone, therefore, you will not only respond to Allah’s call, but you will also present yourselves singing His praises. And on that day, this worldly life will seem to you like nothing but a pleasant dream.
