Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 39){ذٰلِكَمِمَّاۤاَوْحٰۤىاِلَيْكَ … :} The admonition began with {’’ وَلَاتَجْعَلْمَعَاللّٰهِاِلٰهًااٰخَرَ ‘‘} and the matter was concluded with it as well. For its exegesis, see the commentary of verse (22) of this surah.

39. These are among the wise teachings [49] your Lord has revealed to you. And do not set up another god with Allah, or you will be thrown into Hell, blamed and rejected.
[49] All these matters are priceless pieces of advice and pearls of wisdom. Upon them will be established the structure of your civilization, culture, beliefs, and morals. The very first of these matters was related to Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah), and upon this, these pieces of advice are also concluded. Because the fundamental principle of all of them is Tawheed itself, therefore, in the end, it has been emphasized again. For without Tawheed, no good deed will be of any benefit.
