They assign to Allâh that which they dislike (for themselves), and their tongues assert the falsehood that the better things will be theirs. No doubt for them is the Fire, and they will be the first to be hastened on into it, and left there neglected. (Tafsir Al-Qurtubî)

(Ayah62) ➊ {وَيَجْعَلُوْنَلِلّٰهِمَايَكْرَهُوْنَ :} For example, these polytheists do not like that anyone else should be a co-owner in their property, but they associate others with Allah’s ownership. (See: Ar-Rum: 28) They desire honor for their own messenger, but they mock the messengers who bring Allah’s message; they do not tolerate abuse for themselves, but they abuse Allah. For example, saying that Allah has children is an abuse for Him, and there are many wretches whom Allah has given everything, yet they openly abuse Allah. Then, they assign sons for themselves and daughters for Allah. In short, whatever they do not like from their slaves for themselves, being Allah’s slaves or rather His creation, they do all those indecencies with Him, yet He is patient and gives respite. (Subhan Allah) ➋ {وَتَصِفُاَلْسِنَتُهُمُالْكَذِبَ :} They say that we have found peace and prosperity in this world, so this proves that Allah is pleased with us; therefore, if the Hereafter really happens, we will get all this there as well. See Surah Maryam (77–80), Surah Ha-Mim As-Sajdah (50), and Surah Al-Kahf (36). ➌ { وَاَنَّهُمْمُّفْرَطُوْنَ:’’ مُفْرَطُوْنَ ‘‘} is a passive participle from the Bab If‘al. {’’فَرَطٌ‘‘ } is one who is sent ahead by a people before themselves, as the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: [ أَنَافَرَطُكُمْعَلَیالْحَوْضِ ][ بخاری، الرقاق، باب في الحوض : ۶۵۷۵، عن ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ ] “I will go ahead of you at the Hawd (Pond) to arrange your necessities.” That is, there is no doubt that the Fire is for them, and these polytheists will be sent there before other sinners. One meaning of {’’ مُفْرَطُوْنَ ‘‘} is also that after being thrown into Hell, they will be left there and completely forgotten; they will rot there, as He said: «{ وَقِيْلَالْيَوْمَنَنْسٰىكُمْكَمَانَسِيْتُمْلِقَآءَيَوْمِكُمْهٰذَا }»[ الجاثیۃ : ۳۴ ] “And it will be said: Today We forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours.” The Arabs say: {’’ مَاأَفْرَطْتُوَرَائِيْأَحَدًا‘‘} “I have left no one behind me.” The commentators have mentioned both meanings, and both can occur at the same time.

62. 1. That is, daughters. This repetition is for emphasis.
62. 2. This describes their second fault: that they deal unjustly with Allah. Their tongues utter this lie that their end will be good, that there are good things for them, and that their Hereafter will be as good as their worldly life.
62. 3. That is, certainly their end is "good," and that is the Fire of Hell, in which they will be the forerunners among the inhabitants of Hell, the first to enter. These are the meanings of فَرَط as established by hadith as well. The Prophet ﷺ said, "اَنَافَرَطُکُمْعَلَیالْحَوْضِ" (Sahih Bukhari) "I will be your forerunner at the Hawd (Pond of Kawthar)." Another meaning of مفرَطُوْنَ is that they will be thrown into Hell and then forgotten.

62. They assign to Allah what they themselves dislike, and their tongues utter the lie that they will have the best. Without doubt, for them is the Fire, and they will be pushed into it at the forefront.
[59] The Polytheists Attribute Abominable Things to Allah:
These polytheists consider the existence of daughters as a source of shame and disgrace for themselves, yet they attribute the same to Allah. They themselves cannot tolerate that a stranger comes and shares in their property or wealth, but they like to associate partners with Allah in His universe. They do not like to be mocked themselves, but they are pleased by mocking the verses of Allah. These are their actions, yet their verbal claims are that Allah is kind to them; that is why He has made them prosperous, and even if the Day of Resurrection is established, there is no reason why He would not be kind to them then as well. Therefore, for them, there is goodness in this world and there will be goodness in the Hereafter as well. Allah Almighty said: these people are uttering lies. Rather, the reality is that the fire of Hell is waiting for such people, and they will be its first prey. And some polytheists, who had a vague belief in the Hereafter, used to claim that they worship these angels or daughters of Allah because they are our intercessors, so in the Hereafter there will be nothing but goodness for us. To this, Allah responded as follows.
