(Ayah5){وَ الْاَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيْهَا دِفْءٌ … : ’’ الْاَنْعَامَ ‘‘ ’’نَعَمٌ‘‘} (with the fatha on ن and ع) is the plural, camels, cows, sheep, and goats. {’’ دِفْءٌ ‘‘} heat, this is used in contrast to shivering from cold, {’’مَا يُدْفَأُ بِهٖ‘‘} that with which heat is obtained, just as {’’مِلْأٌ ‘‘} that with which something is filled. A special benefit of the cattle is that from their wool and hair, clothing is provided that gives warmth; due to its importance, it is mentioned first, and the general benefits are mentioned afterward. {’’ وَ مَنَافِعُ ‘‘} and there are many benefits, for example, you ride them, plow with them, draw water with them, burn their dung, use it as fertilizer in fields, and by selling them, you buy all kinds of necessities. In these benefits, {”دِفْءٌ ٌ“} is also included, and also that by their reproduction, your wealth keeps increasing, and finally, among these benefits, one particular benefit is mentioned again: that you eat from them, meaning milk, yogurt, the countless things made from them, and meat—in short, in them is also your food provision. This verse is similar to verse (66) and (80) of this surah.

5. 1. Along with this favor, another favor is mentioned that the cattle (camels, cows, and goats) are also created by Him, from whose hair and wool you prepare warm clothes and obtain warmth.
