Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah7){لَوْ مَا تَاْتِيْنَا بِالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِ : } that the angels should come forward and testify that he is truly Allah’s messenger, so follow him, as Allah has mentioned their demand in several places, He said: «{ وَ قَالُوْا لَوْ لَاۤ اُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ مَلَكٌ [ الأنعام : ۸ ] “And they said, ‘Why has no angel been sent down to him?’” And see Surah Az-Zukhruf (53) and Surah Al-Furqan (21, 22). And it is also possible that when you (ﷺ) warned them of punishment, they demanded punishment by saying {’’ لَوْ مَا تَاْتِيْنَا بِالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةِ ‘‘}. (Kabir)

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 7. 1. This is a description of the disbelief and stubbornness of the disbelievers, that they called the Prophet insane and said that if you (O Muhammad ﷺ) are truthful, then ask your Allah to send angels to us so that they may confirm your prophethood or destroy us.
