Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 56. 1. That is, I am expressing astonishment and wonder at having children only because of my old age; it is not that I am hopeless of my Lord’s mercy. Only those who are astray lose hope in the mercy of their Lord.
