(Ayah24){وَ لَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا الْمُسْتَقْدِمِيْنَ … :} This includes many things: ➊ Those people who have passed before us and those who will come after us, Allah Almighty knows all of them. His knowledge is eternal and everlasting. ➋ Those people who, upon hearing the first word of the adhan {’’الله اكبر‘‘}, considering Allah Almighty to be the Greatest, are the very first to set out for prayer, and those who lag behind, Allah Almighty knows all of them. ➌ The foremost and the laggards, that is, those who advance in jihad and other good deeds and those who remain behind, all are within Allah Almighty’s knowledge.

24. And We certainly know those who went before you and those who will come later [15].

[15] The words are general, and they can refer to those who have passed before and those who will come later, as well as those who are ahead in accepting Islam or those who lag behind. Or, in any good or bad deed, those who are ahead and those who are behind. Allah is fully aware of all of them.
