Translation by Dr. Muhammad Muhsin Khan & Dr. Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali
This (Qur’an) is a Message for mankind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only One Ilâh (God - Allâh) - (none has the right to be worshipped but Allâh) - and that men of understanding may take heed.

52. This Qur’an is a message to be conveyed to the people, so that they may be warned by it, and so that they may know that Allah is only One, and so that those of understanding may take heed [51].
[51] The Three Purposes of the Revelation of the Quran:
That is, the message of the Quran is something that must be conveyed to all people, and it has three benefits: first, that people are timely warned and frightened of the consequences of their evil deeds; second, that people come to know that there is only one Being who holds them accountable for their deeds, therefore, in every situation, only He should be turned to, worshipped, and called upon in times of benefit and harm; and third, that the people of understanding may take lesson and admonition from the verses and events mentioned in this Quran.
