Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Multiple meanings of (Ayah16){مِنْوَّرَآىِٕهٖجَهَنَّمُوَيُسْقٰىمِنْمَّآءٍصَدِيْدٍ : ’’وَرَآءٌ‘‘} have been mentioned: ➊ Behind or after, as He said: «{ وَمِنْوَّرَآءِاِسْحٰقَيَعْقُوْبَ }»[ ھود : ۷۱ ] "And after Isaac, We gave the glad tidings of Jacob." ➋ Other than, i.e., except, as He said: «{ فَمَنِابْتَغٰىوَرَآءَذٰلِكَفَاُولٰٓىِٕكَهُمُالْعٰدُوْنَ }»[ المؤمنون : ۷ ] "Then whoever seeks other than that, they are the transgressors." ➌ Ahead, as in Surah Al-Kahf (79), {’’ وَكَانَوَرَآءَهُمْمَّلِكٌ ‘‘} is interpreted as "ahead of them was a king." Here, it can mean "after," that is, after the failure in this world, for him is Hell, and it can also mean "ahead," that is, Hell is waiting for him in the future. {’’صَدِيْدٍ ‘‘} is the thin fluid that comes out of a wound, meaning the pus, blood, and fluid that will come out of the bodies of the people of Hell due to their burning. See also Surah Sad (57, 58), Muhammad (15), and Kahf (29). {’’ مَآءٍصَدِيْدٍ ‘‘} is "mubaddal minhu" and "badal," meaning such water that will be "Sadeed."

In some ahadith, it is mentioned as (squeezed out from the bodies of the inhabitants of Hell), and in some ahadith, it is mentioned that this صَدِیْد will be so hot and boiling that as soon as it reaches near their mouths, the skin of their faces will burn and fall off, and as soon as they drink a sip of it, the intestines of their stomachs will come out through the path of excretion.
