Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah14){ وَ لَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُ الْاَرْضَ مِنْۢ بَعْدِهِمْ …:} That is, Allah Almighty encouraged them through revelation that We will destroy these wrongdoers and settle you in this land. The eventual dominance of the followers of the prophets over the lands of the disbelievers is, in fact, the dominance of the prophets themselves, just as the Children of Israel, after a period following the death of Musa (peace be upon him), took control of Syria, Egypt, and other places. It is said: «{ كَذٰلِكَ وَ اَوْرَثْنٰهَا بَنِيْۤ اِسْرَآءِيْلَ [الشعراء : ۵۹ ] "Thus it happened, and We made the Children of Israel the inheritors." And although the Muslims gained control over the Arabian Peninsula during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as it is said regarding the Jews: «{ وَ اَوْرَثَكُمْ اَرْضَهُمْ وَ دِيَارَهُمْ وَ اَمْوَالَهُمْ وَ اَرْضًا لَّمْ تَطَـُٔوْهَا وَ كَانَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرًا [ الأحزاب : ۲۷ ] "And (O Muslims!) We made you the inheritors of their land, their houses, and their wealth, and also of the land on which you had not set foot, and Allah is always fully capable of everything." However, the conquests of the east and west of the earth occurred after the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) passing, and these too were, in reality, the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) own conquests, because they were the victories of his religion and his followers. {’’ وَعِيْدِ ‘‘} was originally { ’’وَعِيْدِيْ‘‘}, "My warning." To match the endings of the verses, the ya was omitted and only the kasrah was retained.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

14. 1. This subject has also been stated by Allah at several places, for example, (ولقد کتبنا فی الزبور من بعد الذکر ان الارض یرثھا عبادی الصٓلحون). Al-Anbiya. We have written in the Zabur, after the reminder, that in the end, My righteous servants will inherit the earth. Accordingly, Allah Almighty helped the Noble Prophet ﷺ; you were compelled to leave Makkah unwillingly, but only a few years later you entered Makkah as a conqueror, and the oppressive polytheists who forced you to leave stood with their heads bowed, waiting for a mere gesture from you. But you demonstrated great character by saying (لَا تَثْرِيْبَ عَلَيْكُمُ) 12. Yusuf:92) and forgave everyone. Salawat Allah wa salamuhu alayh.

14. 2. Just as it is stated at another place: (وَاَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ وَنَهَى النَّفْسَ عَنِ الْهَوٰى 40؀ۙ فَاِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ ھِيَ الْمَاْوٰى 41؀ۭ) 79. An-Nazi'at:40). An-Nazi'at. Whoever feared standing before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, surely Paradise will be his abode. (ولمن خاف مقام ربہ جنتن). Ar-Rahman. Whoever feared standing before his Lord, for him there are two gardens.
