Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The meaning of (Ayah 35){ مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِيْ …: ’’ مَثَلُ ‘‘} here is as an attribute or state. After mentioning the people of Hell, the state and attribute of the Paradise that the righteous will receive is described: rivers will flow beneath its trees and dwellings, its fruit will be everlasting—not that it will be there sometimes and absent at other times—and likewise, its shade will also be everlasting. Its fruits will neither end nor will any inhabitant of Paradise face any hindrance from them. (See Waqi'ah: 33) For the description of the rivers of Paradise, see Surah Muhammad (15), and for the state of the shade, see Surah Dahr (14), Nisa (57), and Ta-Ha (118, 119). For further details, refer at this place to Tafsir Ibn Kathir and the chapters on the conditions of Paradise and Hell in the books of hadith.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

35. 1. Along with the evil end of the disbelievers, the good end of the believers has been mentioned so that desire and eagerness for attaining Paradise may be created. At this point, Imam Ibn Kathir has mentioned hadiths comprising the blessings, pleasures, and special qualities of Paradise. These can be seen there.
