Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah23) ➊ { جَنّٰتُعَدْنٍيَّدْخُلُوْنَهَا۠ …: } is a complete substitute for {’’ عُقْبَىالدَّارِ ‘‘}, meaning that good outcome is the everlasting gardens in which they will enter, and those among their forefathers, wives, and offspring who are worthy of entering Paradise will also enter with them into the Gardens of Eden. Some commentators say that {’’عَدْنٍ‘‘} is a place in Paradise; in that case, the translation would be "Gardens of Eden," and in this case, it would be a partial substitute for {’’ عُقْبَىالدَّارِ ‘‘}. Imam Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding this verse, meaning they and their loved ones will be gathered together in Paradise, whether fathers, household members, or offspring who, due to being believers, are worthy of entering Paradise, so that their eyes may be cooled by being with them, to the extent that the one of lower rank will be raised to the level of the higher rank, without the higher rank being diminished, purely due to Allah’s grace and favor, as He said: «{ وَالَّذِيْنَاٰمَنُوْاوَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْذُرِّيَّتُهُمْبِاِيْمَانٍاَلْحَقْنَابِهِمْذُرِّيَّتَهُمْوَمَاۤاَلَتْنٰهُمْمِّنْعَمَلِهِمْمِّنْشَيْءٍ }»[ الطور : ۲۱ ] "And those who believed and whose offspring followed them with any degree of faith, We will join their offspring with them, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds." ➋ {وَالْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُيَدْخُلُوْنَعَلَيْهِمْ …:} When they enter Paradise, the angels will come to them from every gate, congratulating them and giving them glad tidings.
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
23. 1. The meaning of 'Adn is residence. That is, gardens in which one will reside forever.
23. 2. That is, in such a way Allah will unite righteous relatives so that their eyes will be cooled by seeing each other, even to the extent that a person of a lower rank in Paradise will be granted a higher rank so that he may be united with his relative. It is said: (وَالَّذِيْنَاٰمَنُوْاوَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْذُرِّيَّــتُهُمْبِاِيْمَانٍاَلْحَـقْنَابِهِمْذُرِّيَّتَهُمْوَمَآاَلَتْنٰهُمْمِّنْعَمَلِهِمْمِّنْشَيْءٍ ۭ كُلُّامْرِیبِمَاكَسَبَرَهِيْنٌ 21) 52. At-Tur:21) "And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith – We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds." From this, it is understood that Allah Almighty will unite righteous relatives in Paradise, and it is also understood that if someone does not possess the capital of faith and righteous deeds, he will not enter Paradise, even if his other very close relatives have entered Paradise. Because entry into Paradise is not based on lineage, but on faith and deeds. (Man bata'a bihi amaluhu lam yusri' bihi nasabuhu) Sahih Muslim. "He whom his deeds hold back, his lineage will not push forward."
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani

23. Gardens of perpetual residence, which they will enter, along with the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their descendants [33]; and the angels will enter upon them from every gate.
[33] Here, after mentioning the above nine qualities of the believers, it is stated that only such people are deserving of Paradise. Then, the fathers, wives, and children of such people who are righteous—even if their deeds do not reach that level—Allah Almighty will still unite them with them in Paradise. And the angels, whichever gate they enter upon them, will greet them with prayers of peace.
