And no reward you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) ask of them (those who deny your Prophethood) for it; it (the Qur’ân) is no less than a Reminder and an advice unto the ‘Âlamîn (men and jinn).

Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). (Ayah104) ➊ { وَمَاتَسْـَٔلُهُمْعَلَيْهِمِنْاَجْرٍ:} That is, one possible reason for their not believing could have been that you were burdening them by demanding a reward for this preaching, but this is not the case at all. ➋ { اِنْهُوَاِلَّاذِكْرٌلِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ:} And it is also not the case that if they do not accept, they will harm the religion in any way; this Qur’an and Islam are not just for them, it is for all the worlds. Allah, the Exalted, will bring forth His own servants who will carry its knowledge, and as for these people, if they accept, they will benefit themselves, and if they do not accept, they will harm themselves; you should not be grieved by their attitude at all.

14. 1 So that they may not be under the suspicion that this claim of prophethood is merely a pretext for collecting money.
14. 2 So that people may obtain guidance from it and improve their worldly life and Hereafter. Now, if the people of the world turn away from it and do not seek guidance from it, then it is the fault and misfortune of the people; indeed, the Qur'an has come solely for the guidance and admonition of the people of the world. If the bat-eyed does not see during the day, what fault is it of the sun's fountain?
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani

Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
104. And you do not ask them for any reward for this (preaching); it is only a reminder [99] for all the worlds.
[99] The Stubbornness of the Disbelievers:
That is, if these people do not accept, then let them not accept. This Quran is not only for them but is an admonition for all the people of the world. If not them, then others will attain faith through it. So if they do not accept, you suffer no loss in this. You were not asking them for any compensation that they would stop giving.
