Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

({اِنَّ رَبِّيْ رَحِيْمٌ وَّدُوْدٌ :}) That is, my Lord is Most Merciful to His servants, Most Loving, that is why He arranged to warn you beforehand so that you may refrain in the future, seek forgiveness for the past, and save yourselves from the evil consequences of your deeds.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. 90. "And seek forgiveness from your Lord and turn to Him in repentance. Surely, my Lord is Most Merciful, Most Loving."

[102] The better way for you is that instead of becoming provoked and irritated by my words, seek forgiveness from Allah for your previous sins and make a covenant with Allah not to commit such acts in the future. Then, not only will Allah forgive your sins, but He will also be pleased with you and begin to love you.
