Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 48) ➊ { قِيْلَ يٰنُوْحُ اهْبِطْ بِسَلٰمٍ مِّنَّا وَ بَرَكٰتٍ عَلَيْكَ:} That is, disembark from the ship onto the land with peace and countless blessings from Us upon yourself and upon those with you.
{ وَ عَلٰۤى اُمَمٍ مِّمَّنْ مَّعَكَ:} That is, upon all those believers who will be born from your progeny and the progeny of those with you until the Day of Resurrection. But from those with you, only the sons of Noah (peace be upon him) continued the lineage, as He said: «{ وَ جَعَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهٗ هُمُ الْبٰقِيْنَ [الصافآت : ۷۷ ] “And We made his descendants the only survivors.”
{ وَ اُمَمٌ سَنُمَتِّعُهُمْ ثُمَّ يَمَسُّهُمْ …:} Allah the Exalted gave reassurance that after this, all of humanity will not be destroyed, though some groups will perish. (Muwaddih) The groups that will perish refer to all those disbelievers who were born from the descendants of Noah (peace be upon him) or will be born until the Day of Resurrection.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

48. 1 This refers to the disembarkation from the ship or from the mountain upon which the ship had come to rest.
48. 2 By this are meant either those groups who were aboard the ship with Hazrat Nuh ؑ, or those groups to come in the future who would be from his progeny; in view of the next phrase, the latter meaning is more correct.
48. 3 These are the groups who, from the progeny of those saved in the ship, will exist until the Day of Judgment. The meaning is that these disbelievers will certainly be given the provisions of the world to spend a few days of worldly life, but ultimately they will be faced with a painful punishment.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

It was said, "O Noah, disembark in peace from Us and blessings upon you and upon nations (descending) from those with you. And there will be other communities to whom We shall grant enjoyment [53], then a painful punishment from Us will reach them."

Nuh (peace be upon him) and His Companions Settling Again on the Earth:

When the Ark rested on Mount Judi, Nuh (peace be upon him) was informed by revelation that the water would no longer rise, but would continue to recede, so all those aboard the Ark should disembark safely and soundly. These people first disembarked on Mount Judi, and then, as the land gradually dried, they came down to the earth. After this flood, fruits and grain were produced in abundance from the earth, which made the companions of Nuh (peace be upon him) prosperous, and they began to live on the earth again in peace and tranquility. At the same time, Allah Almighty also informed them that rebellious people would also be born from their descendants, and Allah would subject them to punishment according to His established practice.
