18. 1. This exception is also for the sinful among the believers. That is, like the other inhabitants of Paradise, these disobedient believers will not have always been in Paradise; rather, in the beginning, they will spend some time in Hell, and then, through the intercession of the prophets and the believers, they will be taken out of Hell and admitted into Paradise, as these matters are established from authentic ahadith.

18. 2. The meaning of "ghayra majdhudh" is "not cut off." That is, a gift that never ends. From this sentence, it becomes clear that for those sinners who are taken out of Hell and admitted into Paradise, this entry will not be temporary, but forever, and all the inhabitants of Paradise will always continue to enjoy Allah's gifts and His blessings, and this will continue forever. There will never be any interruption in it.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan.
