وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ ﴿3﴾
"Nor will you worship that which I worship.

3. Nor are you worshippers of what I worship [2].

[2] The Quran has given a clear and decisive verdict regarding this proposal of the disbelievers and has instructed its Prophet to announce before all the disbelievers that on this condition, there can never be any compromise between us and you. Because I can never worship your deities at any cost. The result of this can only be that you too will not be willing to worship the One Allah alone, nor will you be prepared to abandon your other deities.
