Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 9) ➊ {يَهْدِيْهِمْرَبُّهُمْبِاِيْمَانِهِمْ:} That is, Allah grants those who believe and do righteous deeds the guidance to the straight path in this world, meaning He gives them the ability to walk on the right path because of their faith, or it means that because of their faith in this world, on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will guide them, so that they will cross the (bridge of) Sirat and reach Paradise directly. In both meanings, the letter "ba" is for causation; it can also be for seeking help, as mentioned in Surah Hadid (12, 13), that the light of believing men and women will run before them and on their right, while hypocrite men and women will request them to let them benefit from their light and walk with them. Thus, the believers will reach Paradise by walking with the help of the light of their faith, while the hypocrites will remain in darkness.
➋ {تَجْرِيْمِنْتَحْتِهِمُالْاَنْهٰرُ :} For details of the rivers of Paradise, see Surah Muhammad (15).
➌ {فِيْجَنّٰتِالنَّعِيْمِ :} The details of these blessings cannot be described; it is said: «{ فَلَاتَعْلَمُنَفْسٌمَّاۤاُخْفِيَلَهُمْمِّنْقُرَّةِاَعْيُنٍ }»[السجدۃ : ۱۷ ] "So no soul knows what has been hidden for them of coolness of the eyes." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: [ يَقُوْلُاللّٰهُعَزَّوَجَلَّ : أَعْدَدْتُلِعِبَادِيَالصَّالِحِيْنَمَالَاعَيْنٌرَأَتْوَلَاأُذُنٌسَمِعَتْوَلَاخَطَرَعَلٰيقَلْبِبَشَرٍ ][ مسلم، الجنۃ و صفۃ نعیمھا، باب صفۃ الجنۃ :2824/4، عن أبی ھریرۃ رضی اللہ عنہ ] "Allah says, I have prepared for My righteous servants what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and what has never crossed the heart of any human."
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan — Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf
Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
9. 1. Another meaning of this is that, due to faith in this world, on the Day of Resurrection Allah will make it easy for them to cross the Sirat Bridge. According to some, this is for seeking help, and the meaning would be that Allah will provide them with a light on the Day of Resurrection by which they will walk, as mentioned in Surah Hadid.
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
9. Surely those who believe and do righteous deeds [13], their Lord will guide them because of their faith to Gardens of bliss beneath which rivers flow.
[13] However, those people who used their God-given intellect properly, reflected upon His signs and attained His recognition, believed in the Creator of the universe, His immense power, and the Day of Resurrection, and remained fearful of accountability in the Hereafter, and performed righteous deeds according to Allah’s commands—they will be rewarded for their deeds in the form of Paradise, whose blessings are countless, immeasurable, and everlasting.
