Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim — Hafiz Abdus Salam Bin Muhammad Bhutvi
Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
(Ayah 65) ➊ { وَلَايَحْزُنْكَقَوْلُهُمْ …:} After mentioning the worldly and hereafter happiness of His friends, Allah Almighty comforted His Messenger (peace be upon him) that he should not be saddened by the words of the enemies, such as being called a magician, madman, liar, etc., which caused him distress. Although grief is a natural thing, you should neither lose heart nor despair, because honor—that is, dominance, authority, and victory—is all in Allah’s hands; He gives dominance to whomever He wills and subdues whomever He wills. Therefore, you do not need to be distressed by the threats of these disbelievers, their disbelief and polytheism, and their taunts and mockery. You are Allah’s Messenger; in the end, dominance and authority will be yours and for the religion you have presented. Also see Surah Mujadila (21) and Munafiqun (8).
➋ {هُوَالسَّمِيْعُالْعَلِيْمُ : } He is listening to their useless talk and knows well how they treat you; He will soon deal with your opponents.

The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
65. (O Prophet,) do not be grieved by what the disbelievers say [80]. All honor truly belongs to Allah, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
[80] After mentioning the friends of Allah, now the enemies of Allah are also mentioned—those who denied the truth, mocked the Prophet of Islam and the Muslims, and left no stone unturned in causing them harm. In this verse, the Prophet of Islam and the Muslims are being comforted by saying that dominance, power, authority, and honor are all in Allah’s hands, and Allah will never let you remain in such a state. Rather, He will create circumstances in which the deniers of the truth will be humiliated and disgraced, and honor and dominance will be granted to the people of truth.
