Tafsir al-Quran al-Karim is a 4-volume Quran commentary by Hafiz Abdus Salam bin Muhammad Bhutvi, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar and Sheikh ul-Hadith from Pakistan. Based on over 45 years of teaching and research, this tafsir follows the methodology of Tafsir bil-Ma'thur — interpreting the Quran through authentic Hadith, statements of the Companions, and the understanding of the early generations (Salaf). It is distinguished by its complete avoidance of Israeliyyat (Judeo-Christian narratives) and unverified reports. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

(Ayah 108){وَ مَاۤ اَنَا عَلَيْكُمْ بِوَكِيْلٍ:} That is, I am not responsible for you; if you do not come to the straight path, then I will not be questioned about it.

Tafsir Ahsan al-Bayan is a well-known Quran commentary by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. This tafsir explains the meanings of the Quran in accordance with the methodology of the Salaf (early righteous generations), relying on authentic sources and straightforward language. Due to its reliability and adherence to sound Islamic scholarship, the Saudi government publishes and distributes this tafsir among the Hujjaj (pilgrims) visiting the Haramain. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

18. 1 By "the truth" is meant the Quran and the religion of Islam, in which belief in the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad ﷺ is absolutely essential.

18. 2 That is, its benefit will be only for him, that on the Day of Resurrection he will be saved from Allah's punishment.

18. 3 That is, its harm and consequence will fall only upon him, that on the Day of Resurrection he will burn in the fire of Hell. In other words, if someone adopts the path of guidance, it will not increase Allah's power in any way, and if someone chooses disbelief and misguidance, it will not make any difference to Allah's sovereignty and power. Thus, the encouragement towards faith and guidance, and the emphasis and arrangement to avoid disbelief and misguidance, both are intended solely for the benefit and well-being of humans. Allah Himself has no personal interest.

18. 4 That is, this responsibility has not been assigned to me that I must, under all circumstances, make you Muslims. Rather, I am only a bearer of glad tidings and a warner, a preacher and an inviter. My duty is only to give glad tidings to the believers, to warn the disobedient of Allah's punishment and His reckoning, and to invite and convey Allah's message. If someone accepts this invitation and believes, that is fine; if someone does not accept, then I am not obliged to force him to accept.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Say: O people! The truth has come to you from your Lord. So whoever chooses to follow the right path, it is for his own benefit. And whoever goes astray, the burden of his misguidance is only upon himself. And I am not a guardian over you.

The Three Principles of Guidance, Benefits of Accepting Guidance:

Thus, in the above three verses, the concept of guidance has been explained in summary, which consists of the following principles: complete avoidance of all forms of shirk, placing trust solely in Allah Almighty and considering Him the owner of benefit and harm, and proceeding with full devotion on the divinely revealed Shariah without looking here and there. The one who adopts such guidance gains the benefit in this world that he receives complete guidance for every aspect of life and does not need external ideologies and philosophies, and life is spent responsibly and peacefully. In the Hereafter, he will surely attain success. And the person who does not adopt such guidance keeps wandering here and there all his life; he gets only as much of the world as is destined for him, but he cannot attain peace, and in the Hereafter, his destruction and ruin are certain, and he himself is responsible for that destruction.
