Then We save the messengers and those who believe. This is Our way: saving the believers [111] is Our responsibility.

[111]
It is Allah’s Responsibility to Save Those Who Believe in the Messenger from Punishment:

It has always been Allah’s practice that when He sends punishment upon a guilty nation due to their denial of His Messenger, He informs the Messenger of the coming punishment through revelation and also explains the way to be saved from it. In this way, the Messenger and those who believe in him are saved from that punishment, while the criminals are destroyed by it. In fact, this verse is a warning to the people of Makkah, who were exerting all their efforts in opposing Islam and the Prophet of Islam, blocking the path of Islam, and inflicting harm upon the Muslims. The purpose was to inform them that their fate would be the same as that of the previous criminals, and that saving these weak and oppressed Muslims from your tyranny and making them prevail over you is Our responsibility.
