What is Istihalah(اِسْتِحَالَة) or Istihal(استهلا)? & Is it true that some Haram foods can be turned in to halal?
For example the example of Bovine Gelatin, I heard that it is always halal regardless of whether the animal was slaughtered by the people of the book or not because they say it goes through a metamorphosis where it completely changed the original bones into a different product & that this process is known as Istihalah which makes it halal
Is this true?
