Hadith 2125
حَدَّثَنَا بُنْدَارٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا أَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَشْتَرِيَ بَرِيرَةَ فَاشْتَرَطُوا الْوَلَاءَ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْطَى الثَّمَنَ ، أَوْ لِمَنْ وَلِيَ النِّعْمَةَ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ .
´It is narrated from Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that` when she intended to buy (and free) Barirah, the family of Barirah set the condition of wala’ (inheritance). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The right of wala’ (inheritance) belongs to the one who pays the price or owns the favor of freeing.” © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is hasan sahih,
2- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with them),
3- The people of knowledge act upon this.
