باب مَا جَاءَ فِي أَكْلِ الدُّبَّاءِ

Hadith 1849
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي طَالُوتَ قَالَ : " دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ الْقَرْعَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ يَا لَكِ شَجَرَةً مَا أَحَبَّكِ إِلَيَّ لِحُبِّ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكِ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
Abu Talut says: I went to Anas bin Malik, he was eating gourd, and saying: O gourd! How much I like you! Because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) liked you. © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1850
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَتَبَّعُ فِي الصَّحْفَةِ يَعْنِي الدُّبَّاءَ فَلَا أَزَالُ أُحِبُّهُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَرُوِيَ أَنَّهُ رَأَى الدُّبَّاءَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهُ : مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : " هَذَا الدُّبَّاءُ نُكَثِّرُ بِهِ طَعَامَنَا " .
Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, says: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, searching in the dish for gourd, and since then I have always liked it. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
2- This hadith has also come from Anas through other chains.
3- It has been narrated that Anas saw gourd in front of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, so he asked: What is this? He replied: "This is gourd; we increase the quantity of our food with it."
