Hadith 1829
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ : أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ ، " أَنَّهَا قَرَّبَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَنْبًا مَشْوِيًّا فَأَكَلَ مِنْهُ ، ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَمَا تَوَضَّأَ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، وَالْمُغِيرَةِ ، وَأَبِي رَافِعٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that she presented roasted meat to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he ate from it. Then he stood up for prayer and did not perform ablution. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
