باب مَا جَاءَ فِي أَكْلِ لُحُومِ الْجَلاَّلَةِ وَأَلْبَانِهَا

Hadith 1824
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاق، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الْجَلَّالَةِ وَأَلْبَانِهَا " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرَوَى الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا .
'Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade eating the flesh of animals that eat filth and drinking their milk. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib,
2- Sufyan al-Thawri narrated it as a mursal report with the chain of «عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم»,

Hadith 1825
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْمُجَثَّمَةِ وَلَبَنِ الْجَلَّالَةِ وَعَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ " ، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ : وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَفِي الْبَاب : عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو .
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade «مجثمة», the milk of animals that eat filth, and drinking water from the mouth of a musk container 1. © Imam Tirmidhi says:

2- Muhammad bin Bashar says: Ibn ‘Adi narrated to us a similar hadith with the chain of «عن سعيد بن أبي عروبة عن قتادة عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم»,
3- There is also a hadith on this topic from Abdullah bin Amr.
