Hadith 1802
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ طَعَامًا فَسَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةٌ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا رَابَهُ مِنْهَا ثُمَّ لِيَطْعَمْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ .
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any of you eats food and a morsel falls down, he should remove from it whatever is disliked, and then eat it; he should not leave it for Satan." © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1803
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ إِذَا أَكَلَ طَعَامًا لَعِقَ أَصَابِعَهُ الثَّلَاثَ " ، وَقَالَ : " إِذَا مَا وَقَعَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيُمِطْ عَنْهَا الْأَذَى وَلْيَأْكُلْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ " ، وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَسْلِتَ الصَّحْفَةَ ، وَقَالَ : &qquot; إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْرُونَ فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِكُمُ الْبَرَكَةُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate food, he would lick his three fingers. He said: "When any of you drops a morsel, he should remove the dirt from it and eat it, and not leave it for Satan." He instructed us to lick the plate and said: "You do not know in which part of your food the blessing lies." __REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1804
حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ رَاشِدٍ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ عَاصِمٍ وَكَانَتْ أُمَّ وَلَدٍ لِسِنَانِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا نُبَيْشَةُ الْخَيْرِ وَنَحْنُ نَأْكُلُ فِي قَصْعَةٍ ، فَحَدَّثَنَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ أَكَلَ فِي قَصْعَةٍ ثُمَّ لَحِسَهَا اسْتَغْفَرَتْ لَهُ الْقَصْعَةُ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ رَاشِدٍ وَقَدْ رَوَى يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنَ الْأَئِمَّةِ ، عَنْ الْمُعَلَّى بْنِ رَاشِدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ .
Umm Asim says: Nabisha al-Khair came to us while we were eating from a bowl, and he narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever eats from a bowl and then licks it, the bowl seeks forgiveness for him."
