Hadith 1794
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَسَنِ ابني محمد بن علي ، عَنْ أَبِيهِمَا، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " عَنْ مُتْعَةِ النِّسَاءِ زَمَنَ خَيْبَرَ ، وَعَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ الْأَهْلِيَّةِ " ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , وَالْحَسَنِ هما ابنا محمد ابن الحنفية ، وعبد الله بن محمد يكنى أبا هاشم ، قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ وَكَانَ أَرْضَاهُمَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ، وقَالَ غَيْرُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَكَانَ أَرْضَاهُمَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar forbade temporary marriage (mut‘ah) with women 1 and the meat of domesticated donkeys. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic),
2- Sa‘id bin ‘Abd al-Rahman Makhzumi narrated to us with the chain «سفيان عن الزهري عن عبد الله والحسن» a similar hadith; ‘Abdullah and Hasan are both sons of Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah, and the kunyah of ‘Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Hanafiyyah is Abu Hashim. Al-Zuhri says: The more preferred of the two is Hasan bin Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah, then he... Other than Sa‘id bin ‘Abd al-Rahman, who narrates from Ibn ‘Uyaynah, others have said: The more preferred of the two is ‘Abdullah bin Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah.

Hadith 1795
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " حَرَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ كُلَّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ وَالْمُجَثَّمَةَ وَالْحِمَارَ الْإِنْسِيَّ " ، قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَجَابِرٍ ، وَالْبَرَاءِ ، وَابْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، وَأَنَسٍ ، وَالْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ ، وَأَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ ، وَابْنِ عُمَرَ ، وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَرَوَى عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَغَيْرُهُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ وَإِنَّمَا ذَكَرُوا حَرْفًا وَاحِدًا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " عَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ " .
Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the day of the Battle of Khaybar forbade every predatory animal with canine teeth, «مجثمة» and domesticated donkeys. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih,
2- Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad and other people have also narrated it from Muhammad bin Amr, and they have mentioned only one sentence «نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن كل ذي ناب من السباع» "that is, they mentioned only the predatory animals with canine teeth, and did not mention statues or domesticated donkeys,"
3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Ali, Jabir, Bara’, Ibn Abi Awfa, Anas, Irbadh bin Sariyah, Abu Tha’labah, Ibn Umar, and Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with them).
