Hadith 1768
It is narrated from Mughirah bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) wore a Roman cloak whose sleeves were tight. © Imam Tirmidhi says: This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
Hadith 1769
Mughira bin Shu’bah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Dihyah Kalbi sent two leather socks as a gift to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he wore them.
© Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Gharib.
2- In his narration, Isra’il said (which he narrates via «عن جابر»): He also sent a cloak. The Prophet wore both of those socks until they tore. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not know whether they were made from the skin of a slaughtered animal or a non-slaughtered one.
3- Abu Ishaq Sabi’i’s name is Sulaiman.
4- Hasan bin Ayyash is the brother of Abu Bakr bin Ayyash.
