باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْفَىْءِ

Hadith 1719
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَوْسِ بْنِ الْحَدَثَانِ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَقُولُ : كَانَتْ أَمْوَالُ بَنِي النَّضِيرِ مِمَّا أَفَاءَ اللهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مِمَّا لَمْ يُوجِفْ الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَيْهِ بِخَيْلٍ وَلَا رِكَابٍ ، وَكَانَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَالِصًا ، وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَعْزِلُ نَفَقَةَ أَهْلِهِ سَنَةً ، ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُ مَا بَقِيَ فِي الْكُرَاعِ وَالسَّلَاحِ عُدَّةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَرَوَى سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهابٍ .
'Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the wealth of the tribe of Banu Nadir, who were Jews, was among those properties which Allah, the Exalted, granted to His Messenger (peace be upon him) as «فے» 1. The Muslims had neither made their horses gallop for it nor their camels. This entire property was purely for Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him). The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would set aside from it a year’s provision for his family, and then whatever remained, he would spend on horses and weapons in preparation for jihad. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
