باب مَا جَاءَ فِيمَنْ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ

Hadith 1656
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُكْلَمُ أَحَدٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ يُكْلَمُ فِي سَبِيلِهِ ، إِلَّا جَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ اللَّوْنُ لَوْنُ الدَّمِ ، وَالرِّيحُ رِيحُ الْمِسْكِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَقَدْ رُوِيَ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is wounded in the way of Allah — and Allah knows best who is wounded in His way 1 — will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound colored with blood, its fragrance will be that of musk." © Imam Tirmidhi says:

Hadith 1657
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مُوسَى، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ يُخَامِرَ، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ ، وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ ، وَمَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً ، فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَغْزَرِ مَا كَانَتْ ، لَوْنُهَا الزَّعْفَرَانُ ، وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ " ، هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ .
It is narrated from Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever among the Muslims strives in the way of Allah for the duration between two milkings of a she-camel, Paradise becomes obligatory for him. And whoever is wounded or injured in the way of Allah, he will come on the Day of Resurrection with his wound much greater than it was in the world; its color will be saffron and its fragrance will be that of musk."
