Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that it was asked: O Messenger of Allah! Which deed is equal to Jihad in reward and merit? He replied: "You do not have the ability to do it." The companions repeated the same question before you two or three times, and each time you said: "You do not have the ability to do it." The third time you said: "The example of the one who strives in the path of Allah is like that of a person who fasts and prays continuously, not ceasing from prayer and fasting, until the warrior in the path of Allah returns." .
Imam Tirmidhi says: 1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic), 2- This hadith has come through several chains from Abu Hurairah in a marfu' (attributed to the Prophet) manner, 3- In this chapter, hadiths have also been narrated from Shifa, Abdullah bin Hubshi, Abu Musa, Abu Sa'id, Umm Malik Bahziyah, and Anas (may Allah be pleased with them).
