Abu Mas’ud Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The account of a man from among the previous nations was taken (after his death), and no good deed was found with him except that he was a wealthy man who used to deal with people and would instruct his servants to show leniency to those in difficulty (at the time of collecting debts). So Allah, the Exalted, said (to the angels): ‘We are more deserving of showing leniency than he was. Pardon him.’” __REF_N__
