Hadith 1290
حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ الْعَوَّامِ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ ، وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ ، وَالْمُخَابَرَةِ ، وَالثُّنْيَا إِلَّا أَنْ تُعْلَمَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ .
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade muhaqala, muzabana , mukhabara , and making exceptions of certain things in a sale , unless the thing excepted is clearly specified. © Imam Tirmidhi says:
This hadith, in this manner, as narrated by Yunus bin Ubaid, who narrated from Ata, and Ata from Jabir, is Hasan Sahih Gharib.
