Hadith 1208
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، قَالَ : خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَمَّى السَّمَاسِرَةَ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ ، إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ ، وَالْإِثْمَ ، يَحْضُرَانِ الْبَيْعَ فَشُوبُوا بَيْعَكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ " . قَالَ : وَفِي الْبَاب ، عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، وَرِفَاعَةَ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : حَدِيثُ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، رَوَاهُ مَنْصُورٌ، وَالْأَعْمَشُ، وَحَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، وغير واحد ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِقَيْسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَيْرَ هَذَا . حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، أبي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Qais bin Abi Garza (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us, and at that time we were called «سماسرہ» 1 (brokers). He said: "O group of traders! During buying and selling, one inevitably encounters Satan and sin, so mix charity with your trade." 2 Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- The hadith of Qais bin Abi Garza is Hasan Sahih,
2- It has been narrated by Mansur with the chain «الأعمش وحبيب بن أبي ثابت», and by several others with the chain «أبي وائل عن قيس بن أبي غرزة». We do not know any other hadith of Qais which he narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),
3- The author has narrated a similar hadith with the same meaning with the chain «أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن شقيق بن سلمة وشقيق هو أبو وائل عن قيس بن أبي غرزة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم»,
4- This hadith is Sahih,
5- In this chapter, ahadith have also been reported from Bara bin Azib and Rifa'ah.

Hadith 1209
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ .
'Through another chain,' Sufyan Thawri narrated from Abu Hamza, with the same chain, a similar hadith.
حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " التَّاجِرُ الصَّدُوقُ الْأَمِينُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ ، وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ ، لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ ، مِنْ حَدِيثِ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، وَأَبُو حَمْزَةَ اسْمَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَابِرٍ وَهُوَ شَيْخٌ بَصْرِيٌّ .
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The truthful and trustworthy merchant will be with the Prophets, the truthful ones, and the martyrs (on the Day of Resurrection)." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan, and we know it only through this chain from Sufyan al-Thawri, who narrated it from Abu Hamza,
2- And Abu Hamza's name is Abdullah bin Jabir, and he is a sheikh from Basra.

Hadith 1209

Hadith 1210
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى ، فَرَأَى النَّاسَ يَتَبَايَعُونَ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ " ، فَاسْتَجَابُوا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَفَعُوا أَعْنَاقَهُمْ ، وَأَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ يُبْعَثُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فُجَّارًا إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّقَى اللَّهَ وَبَرَّ ، وَصَدَقَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ، وَيُقَالُ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ أَيْضًا .
Narrated from Rifa’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went out with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to the place of Eid. He saw people engaged in buying and selling, so he said: “O assembly of traders!” The people then listened to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and raised their necks and gazes towards him. He said: “Traders will be raised on the Day of Resurrection as sinners, except for the one who fears Allah, does good deeds, and speaks the truth.” __REF_N__ Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
2- Isma’il bin Ubaid bin Rifa’ah is also called Isma’il bin Ubaidullah bin Rifa’ah.
1- This hadith is Hasan Sahih.
2- Isma’il bin Ubaid bin Rifa’ah is also called Isma’il bin Ubaidullah bin Rifa’ah.
