Hadith 854

حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عِيسَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ نَهَارًا " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .
´Ibn Umar narrated:` "The Prophet entered Makkah during the daytime."

(Based on corroborating narrations, this hadith is sahih li ghayrihi (authentic due to supporting evidence); otherwise, its narrator "Abdullah al-Umari" is weak. See Sahih Abi Dawud: 1629, and Sunan Abi Dawud: 1865.)
