Brief Explanation
1؎ : Apparently, this hadith gives the impression that fasting during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah is disliked (makruh), but this is not correct. Fasting in these days is recommended (mustahabb), especially the fast of the Day of Arafah, for which great virtue has been reported. In any case, righteous deeds in these days are very beloved to Allah, therefore this hadith is interpreted to mean that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam may not have fasted in these days due to some temporary excuse such as illness or travel, etc. Furthermore, the fact that Aisha radi Allahu anha did not see him fasting does not necessarily mean that he did not actually fast during these days.

1:
Apparently, this hadith gives the impression that fasting during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah is disliked (makruh),
but this is not correct.
Fasting during these days is recommended (mustahabb),
especially as there is great virtue reported for fasting on the Day of Arafah.
Moreover, righteous deeds performed in these days are greatly beloved to Allah, so this hadith is interpreted to mean that the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) may have refrained from fasting during these days due to illness, travel, or some other temporary excuse.
Furthermore, the fact that Aisha (radi Allahu anha) did not see him fasting does not necessarily mean that he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did not actually fast during these days.
