Hadith 700

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ، عَنْ قُرَّةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : " أَحَبُّ عِبَادِي إِلَيَّ أَعْجَلُهُمْ فِطْرًا " .
´Abu Hurairah narrated that :` the Messenger of Allah said: "Allah, Mighty and Sublime is He, said: 'Those of My worshippers who are most beloved to me are the quickest to break their fast.'"

Commentary:
1:
The reason for this love is perhaps adherence to the Sunnah, staying away from innovation (bid‘ah), and opposing the People of the Book.
Note:
(In the chain of narration, Qurrat ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman has many rejected (munkar) narrations, and also Walid ibn Muslim is a mudallis, and the narration is in the form of ‘an‘anah.)
