1:
"Hibwah" is the name of a specific manner of sitting. Its form is that one sits on the buttocks, keeps both knees upright, and clasps them with both hands. The reason for its prohibition is that sitting in this way induces sleep and increases the likelihood of passing wind.

1110. Commentary:
«احتباه» or «حبوة» refers to the manner of sitting in which a person brings his knees together and presses them against his chest, then encircles them with his hands, or wraps a cloth around his back and knees. This is also referred to as «احتباه» or «حبوة». This posture is considered a sign of carelessness and lack of attention, and it also leads to drowsiness. If one is wearing a waist-wrapper (tehband), there is a risk of the private parts being exposed. Sometimes, a person may even lose his ablution (wudu) without realizing it. In short, especially during Jumu‘ah, sitting in this manner is prohibited.
