Takhrij:
«أخرجه الترمذي، الصلاة، باب ما جاء في فضل الصلاة علي النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم، حديث:484، وابن حبان (الموارد)، حديث:2389.»©Explanation:
➊ On the Day of Resurrection, the means to the companionship and closeness of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is to send abundant blessings (salat and salam) upon him.
➋ From this hadith, Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has deduced that it clearly demonstrates the greatness and status of the noble scholars of hadith (muhaddithun, rahimahumullah), for they send blessings upon the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) continuously, both in speech and writing, day and night.
➌ Various wordings of salat (blessings) are transmitted in the ahadith.
The most virtuous is the Salat Ibrahimiyyah, which is recited in the prayer (salah).
Further details regarding this can be found in "Jala’ al-Afham" and "al-Qawl al-Badi’".
