Hadith 467

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَادِرُوا الصُّبْحَ بِالْوِتْرِ " قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ .
´Ibn Umar narrated that :` the Prophet said: "Precede the morning with Al-Witr."
Brief Explanation
1؎ : In this hadith, there is evidence that the time for witr is until before the appearance of dawn (fajr); when fajr appears, then the time for performing witr has ended.
