´Abdul-Aziz bin Juraij said:` "I asked Aishah about what (recitation) Allah's Messenger would perform Al-Witr with. She said: 'In the first he would recite: Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High, in the second: Say: O you disbelievers!, and in the third: Say: Allah is One" and, Al-Mu'awwidhatain.'"

Benefit:
The aforementioned narration has been declared weak in its chain (isnad) by our esteemed researcher. Furthermore, he has written that there are supporting narrations (shawahid) for it. However, he did not issue a ruling regarding the authenticity or weakness of these supporting narrations. Similarly, in his research on Sunan Abi Dawud (Hadith: 1424), he writes that, apart from the Mu'awwidhatayn, there are supporting narrations for the rest of the hadith. Also, Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah has declared this narration to be authentic (sahih). See: (Sahih Abi Dawud (Mufassal), Hadith: 1280). Likewise, the researchers of al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah Musnad al-Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal have also declared it to be authentic due to supporting narrations (sahih li ghayrihi), except for the recitation of the Mu'awwidhatayn. See: (al-Mawsu‘ah al-Hadithiyyah Musnad Ahmad, 80, 79/42).
In conclusion, the aforementioned narration—apart from the Mu'awwidhatayn (Surah al-Falaq and Surah al-Nas)—is actionable and a valid proof. This is because the mention of reciting the remaining three surahs is also found in previous ahadith (1172, 1171), which our esteemed researcher has also declared authentic. And Allah knows best.
