1؎: There is no difference between this hadith and this statement; the meaning is that even the four rak‘ahs should be performed with two salutations (salams), and this is better. Performing them with one salutation is also permissible. However, with two salutations, one attains the virtue of acting upon the Sunnah, as well as the additional merit of sending blessings (salawat) and supplications (du‘a).
