Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah has removed from you the pride of the Age of Ignorance and boasting about ancestors. Now people are either believers and pious or wicked and miserable, and all people are the children of Adam, and Adam was created from dust." © Imam Tirmidhi says:
1- This hadith is Hasan and, in our view, more authentic than the previous narration,
2- Sa'id Maqburi heard from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he narrates many things from Abu Hurairah through his father,
3- Sufyan Thawri and several other narrators have narrated this hadith from Hisham bin Sa'd, Hisham from Sa'id Maqburi, and Sa'id Maqburi from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), similar to the hadith of Abu 'Amir which he narrates from Hisham bin Sa'd.

Benefits and Issues:
It does not befit any believer to take pride in their forefathers.
The standard of honor and dignity in the sight of Allah is piety (taqwa).
(“Indeed, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most pious of you.”) () And whoever attains this strong honor should be extremely grateful to Allah ‘azza wa jall, and should strive to safeguard the honor of faith and piety of their forefathers.
