Hadith 3943

حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَخْزَمَ الطَّائِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقَاهِرِ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، قَالَ : " مَاتَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَكْرَهُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَحْيَاءٍ : ثَقِيفًا ، وَبَنِي حَنِيفَةَ ، وَبَنِي أُمَيَّةَ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ .
´Narrated 'Imran bin Husain:` "The Prophet (ﷺ) died while he was having trouble with three tribes: Thaqif, Banu Hanifah, and Banu Umayyah."

Explanation:
1:
In this regard, the scholars have stated that Thaqif were disliked because of Hajjaj ibn Yusuf, Banu Hanifah because of Musaylimah the Liar, and Banu Umayyah because of Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad.
(And Allah knows best)
Note:
(Hasan al-Basri is a mudallis,
and this narration is with ‘an‘anah,
and he has not even heard from “Imran ibn Husayn radi Allahu anhu.”)
