حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، حَدَّثَنِي غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَال : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ : " إِنْ لَمْ نَكُنْ مِنَ الْأَزْدِ ، فَلَسْنَا مِنَ النَّاسِ " ، قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى : هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ .
´Narrated Anas:` "If we are not from Al-Azd then we are not from the people."

Explanation:
1:
That is, we would not have been complete human beings.
Anas radi Allahu anhu was from the tribe of Ansar,
and all the Ansar are from the tribe of Azd,
and this tribe came from Yemen to Hijaz.
Note:
In the edition of Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi (4196/10/304), this hadith is present,
but in the edition of Maktabat al-Ma'arif and in Tuhfat al-Ashraf, this hadith is not present.
