´Narrated Anas bin Malik:` "When the funeral of Sa'd bin Mu'adh was carried, the hypocrites said: 'How light his funeral is.' And this was due to his judgment concerning Banu Quraizah. So this reached the Prophet (ﷺ), and he said: 'Indeed, the angels were carrying him.'"

Explanation:
1:
When the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) finished with the Battle of the Trench and turned towards Banu Qurayzah, at that time these people were confined within a fortress. The army of Islam surrounded them from all sides. Then these people agreed to accept the judgment of Sa’d ibn Mu’adh (radi Allahu anhu). Accordingly, Sa’d gave the verdict regarding them that their fighting men should be killed, their wealth should be distributed among the Muslims, and their women and children should be taken as slaves and maidservants. The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) greatly approved of Sa’d’s decision, and it was implemented accordingly. Because of this decision, the hypocrites, out of jealousy, taunted that his (Sa’d’s) funeral was so light. These fools were unaware that it was being carried by the angels (this is evidence of him being an extremely beloved servant of Allah).
