´Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abu 'Umairah - and he was one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ):` from the Prophet (ﷺ), that he said to Mu'awiyah: "O Allah, make him a guiding one, and guide (others) by him."

1؎ : And this supplication is not among those supplications of yours which were not accepted; rather, it is among the accepted supplications. Thus, it is established that Muawiyah radi Allahu anhu himself was upon guidance and was a standard of guidance for the people, «رضی الله عنہ».
