´It was narrated from Sa'eed bin Abu Rashid that Ya'la bin Murrah told them that:` They had gone out with the Prophet to a meal to which they had been invited, and Husain was there playing in the street. The Prophet came in front of the people and stretched out his hands, and the child started to run here and there. The Prophet made him laugh until he caught him, then he put one hand under his chin and the other on his head and kissed him, and said, "Husain is part of me and I am part of him. May Allah love those who love Husain. Husain is a tribe among tribes." (Hasan)(Another chain with similar meaning)
Maulana Ataullah Sajid
Commentary: (1) If someone invites you to a meal, accepting it is Sunnah.
(2) It is permissible for small children to play in the street.
(3) To express affection, holding a child and kissing his face is the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
(4) The meaning of "sibt" is grandson, but it is also applied to a tribe. By this, the intention is to manifest the greatness of Husayn (radi Allahu anhu), that he alone possesses the dignity of an entire tribe. Just as Allah has stated that "Ibrahim (alayhis salam) alone possessed the dignity of an entire nation." (an-Nahl: 120)
