´Narrated Hisham bin 'Urwah:` "On the Day of (the battle of) Al-Jamal, Az-Zubair exhorted his son 'Abdullah, saying: 'There is not a part of me except that it has been injured while with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ),' until that ended with his private parts.

1؎: He made this bequest because the sacrifices we had made for the dominance of the true religion, and Islam had prevailed over the world as a result of those sacrifices, today we are wasting that very strength, power, capability, and sacrifice among ourselves. Thus, Zubair radi Allahu anhu withdrew from the Battle of Jamal and turned back towards Makkah (or Madinah Tayyibah), and someone martyred him on the way.
